Hello Charger Family! My name is Robert Johnson and I have been a teacher for over 12 years (4th year in Wake County). I have been a Student Council Advisor for 7 years. I want students to enjoy coming to school and this is an area where Student Council plays a major part. Its so enjoyable seeing smiling faces at an event we sponsor. I also love seeing students build leadership skills while being a voice for the student body. We got a lot accomplished our first year (two dances, Charger Egg hunt, Mother's day cards, Cranes for Kindness, three spirit weeks, etc) but we have a lot more we can do our 2nd year. Outside of school, I mainly spend time with my wife and 2 kids (Geoffrey, 9 and Emma, 6). My wife is a PE/ Health teacher at Apex Friendship High School. I enjoy playing board games, video games, and watching movies. I also enjoy spending time outside. I love hiking, playing basketball, and running in obstacle course races.
Jessica McKeon
Hey Chargers, I am Jessica McKeon. I'm a 6th grade Science teacher here at AFMS and Volleyball Coach. I have been teaching for 8 years and my biggest passions are making students feel welcomed at school (building community) and developing leaders. With Student Council both are possible. My goal is to support and guide student leaders for the voice of the student body. I am so excited to begin year 2.
I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and now live in Holly Springs with my husband Keith and two sons Kaleb and Jaxson. I love moments spent with family and friends. In my free time, I like to craft and be outdoors, planning science experiments, and coaching.
